Saxophonist and composer Alexa Tarantino returns to Dizzy’s Club to celebrate the upcoming release of her fifth studio album—THE ROAR AND THE WHISPER—out July 25th with Blue Engine Records.
This special live preview features the same powerhouse quartet heard on the album, performing Tarantino’s original compositions alongside powerful selections written by Wayne Shorter, Billy Strayhorn, and Cécile McLorin Salvant. Together, the pieces reflect Tarantino’s personal perspective on what makes us human, capturing the emotional depth, shared experiences, and vibrant beauty that define our lives.
